I may actually have something to write about this journal entry as I have been meaning to write an entry for a couple of days now. The thisisaz site needs some work doing to it. *sigh* It has needed quite a lot of work doing to it for a while. I should have done something over the bank holiday weekend, but as usual I was far too lazy. Another group of people are poking fun at the site, which I'm taking a bit too personally I think. But as they are my webpages I can do what I want with them :)

It will probably be easier to go backwards in time from now to write what has been happening to me. Last night I was rather ill. Yes it was through drinking, but not drinking too much, drinking beer that had gone off. It tasted strong but OK at the time, but I guess it wasn't that great as I can still almost taste it now.

The said beer drinking was done at Julie and Sarah's house after a nice day out with various friends and eating and basically being thankful that it was a bank holiday Monday instead of a workday. How I look forward to bank holidays and then waste them doing nothing like this!

I did very little on Sunday except play badminton, make a transatlantic phone call and write a short story. Maybe there will be room for randomness like this on the new site. There's an idea - "Stuff what I wrote."

Saturday I did the banking that I had intended to do, bought a Gamecube which I kind of intended to do, but didn't do anything else, like organise bits n bobs for Erin's trip here… bad me.

Friday night I went to see the film "About a Boy", I had been reading the book all week and was hoping for great things and was disappointed that it was so different from the book. I'm not sure now if the film was good or not, all I remember was it wasn't the film I was expecting.

Now I think about it, I don't really remember what I did last week. I read the "About A Boy" book by Nick Hornby and lugged home a computer - to be my Linux plaything from work. The computer is a bit upset at the moment so I fear lots of grief in the future trying to cheer it up.

This week I've actually started reading another book by Nick Hornby called "How To Be Good", I've only read twelve pages so far, I hope it will turn out to be as good as About a Boy.

I've started playing the games consoles more this week. Maybe someday soon I will actually get to complete the final Tetris wonder! A dream I had years ago now.

So that is about it I think without babbling even more. Just 25 days until I go to the States, yay!
