11th February 2002
Today is a typical Monday. It is raining, I have to go to work, there are traffic jams everywhere delaying me getting to work by bus and quite frankly I'm sorry the weekend is over.
The weekend started with me meeting three female friends in the Goose pub in Romford that I hadn't seen for a while. I then nipped to the Oak before picking up my Dad of all people and heading back into Romford Town Centre to Trax. I had never been in Trax before and I knew why, not much going for it at all. Bad tasting lager that cost a fortune. However we went there to see a band called Alive! That I had previously seen in the Oak a week before.
So on Saturday I finally made a working computer out of all the bits and pieces that were lying around my room. Yay, yet another machine lying around. Then I finally got off my backside and got my hair cut. God knows the last time that happened. It had been unmanageable for a few weeks and now in the windy season - that is a bad thing to have. So I'm back to my minimal hair style. Everyone says - wow it looks good, unfortunately I have to bite my lip because I just want to say 'I know'.
Saturday evening I cleared up and did very little to be honest. Sunday I lounged around before finding my mobile phone and finding a text message on it saying I was playing badminton in two hours time. So I went.
Other than that I bought myself the Futurama DVD boxset of the first season and I am slowly working my through the discs and the commentaries, still plenty left to look at which pleases me.
And the rest of the week was pretty normal. I have had three nights in a row where I have remembered dreams or at least parts of dreams, which means my new dream list looks a little healthier now J
