So what have I done this last week that I could possibly think of to make a note of?  Very little now I come to think of it.  Today has been a less than gentle introduction into the week.  Suffering a lack of sleep, partly due to feeling yucky and partly just cos that's the way it goes, I was deluged with support calls at work, rained on, had to stay behind for a server reboot after everyone else left and generally being busier than I would like.

Today I bought some coins, in fact 22 pounds in weight of them through ebay.  This could be interesting.  I'll have to organise that when I have finished tapping away here.

Over the weekend I went to Colchester and saw mainly Paul and various bits of the University of Essex.  I had a great time but didn't get to see many of the regular faces at all, which is a bit of a shame as I won't be able to get back to Colchester before I go to the States.  That day is drawing ever nearer and who am I to complain?

On Friday night I went to the Pitcher and Piano by Bank, the first time I have ever been there.  A very nice place but very expensive.  Two pints and two spirits came to fifteen pounds exactly.  Scary stuff.  We went home via McDonalds for me and a closed Pizza Express for Rob, Helen, Sarah and Julie.  So we went to a different Pizza Express over in Broadgate where I had some good ice cream.  Helen has also lent me her book by Bill Bryson about the origins of American English language that I forget the correct name of.   I'm making slow progress through it.

So what of the rest o last week?  Well on Tuesday I had drinks in the Goose with Sarah, Julie and Rob, this time the special guest was Jason.  Wednesday was as usual a badminton night.  Didn't do much on Thursday except watch TV and call people on the phone.

I booked Bryan Adams tickets for Del and I, and I also bought Mamma Mia tickets for October when Erin visits.  Yay me and sympathy for the poor credit card!
