The more things change the more they stay the same. I'm still trying to write last years date instead of this years date. I still get on 365 buses at Romford station in the evenings occasionally and I still don't have enough time to do half the things I want to be able to do.
I've re-started two major personal projects which means that both will take ages to get to a reasonable state. I've recently had the urge to go and do a bit of research for the whoownswho.org website that I was working on very briefly over Christmas. I've also had a few ideas for the
thisisaz.com site and in particular the vacation section. If only i were paid to do these websites!!
The weekend was one of high expectation but overall disappointing. Friday night I was looking forward to seeing the band Alive! at the Old Oak pub in Romford. they have been pretty good in the past but something was missing tonight and it wasn't as good as
I would have hoped.
On Saturday I lazed around and did very little during the day time. This was nice as normally Saturdays are very precious to me, but a complete waste of time none the less! In the evening i met up with Darren, who I hadn't seen in ages and Andy and headed to the Cauliflower pub in Seven Kings. We sailed right past the train station the first time and had to go back a station when we were too busy talking to notice the train had stopped. The band at the pub were called Venus. Whilst they were ok, the whole atmosphere of a pub was a parents or grandparents type evening. Far fewer people than normal, far older average crowd age and much less heavy rock compared to what I have known. So I was a little disappointed again.
Sunday I played badminton. Although it took ages to warm up I came out having enjoyed it. then Monday it was back to work for me and back home for Del and Jo from Australia I believe. I haven't heard anything yet. But I bet they will be jetlagged for a good 7 days from now.
I have a few things planned for the week but will reveal those next time.
