23rd March 2002
It has been quite a while since I last wrote a journal entry so I guessed it was about time to write one. The Thursday after my last journal entry turned into a really good night out. Julie, Rob, Sarah, Andy and Darren and I met up at Shelly's in Green Park and then ventured on to TGI Fridays in Piccadilly Circus. Plenty to eat and drink A good night was had by all on Robs birthday.
Friday was much quieter. I went round to Julies house and was joined by the same people as the night before with the addition of Del. The theme of the night was that it was going to be a quiz night, so we ended up playing Trivial Pursuits and a musical quiz game.
On Saturday I went to see Mama Mia, the ABBA musical in London's West End. It was a very good show and inspired me to write a play or novel or movie before I died. I also managed to pick up a Star-Trek nitpickers book that I had been half looking out for, for some time.
Sunday through to Wednesday was pretty quiet. I did start writing the novel that I had promised, so far so good but it is a long way off from completion just yet.
On Wednesday evening we had our usual badminton session, with six people attending we had a record turnout.
I spent most of Thursday and Friday complaining about being too busy and bored at work and doing really nothing of note.
I did go to the Oak last night and I may go to the Cauliflower tonight, but time will tell.
