29th July 2002

Yay, nearly August, traditionally my favourite month of the year as that is when my birthday is (the 9th in case you want to send me a present :) which means the year is chugging along nicely.

So what have I been up to? Well this morning I had an EEG scan at the hospital. Basically they stick electrodes to your head and monitor your brain waves. All quite fun but I fear that I will have traces of the glue they used in my hair for weeks.

Yesterday I was in Colchester for most of the day. The highlight of the day was going to the cinema to see the new Austin Powers film. It was incredibly funny and I’d definitely recommend it to all.

Saturday evening I went to Tim’s house for a barbeque party. All very pleasant.

Friday evening was quiet and I just went to the Oak again with the usual suspects. The guy who was singing, the replacements I think, was really good.

The rest of last week is pretty much a blur. I got many packages through the week including one from Erin’s mum and one being the new Third season of Star Trek: The next Generation. There were a couple of others also.

I had a doctors appointment and I have finally got some medication to take. I’ll probably be taking it for the rest of my life, yay.

Tuesday was Kimberleys leaving day. I’m quite sad to see her go as I said in my last journal entry. It means a lot more admin work for me, although the leaving party at the Ship was great fun.

Until next week.
