Another day another dollar as they say. Today the weather is all in a muddle. In the short space of time from getting to my final station and arriving at work, the weather went from blowing a gale with plenty of rain to boot, to being warm and sunny and calm. Since I've been at work the weather has wavered between the two, although I think blowing a gale has won as it is very windy out there.

Since my last journal entry I have completed another of my aims for the year. This wasn't an official written down aim but I said to myself that I was going to travel on an Electrostar train operated by c2c by the end of the year and I did from Fenchurch Street to Upminster. They are very nice trains, but at the end of the day a train is a train and didn't get me home a massive amount earlier than I would have done otherwise. Charging home to see a TV programme - tis bad.

Our house had digital cable installed yesterday and it didn't work. So the engineer came out today and apparently it is fixed, but no one can operate it at the moment - they are having to wait for me to come and play with it. Maybe people really do believe I have magic hands, we'll see but I am playing badminton tonight.

On Monday someone came up to me, ordinary sort of person and asked me if I had a cigarette. I have never smoked so I don't know the answer to this but why do cigarettes appear to be a communal thing. It just seems normal for a person to come up and ask for one, but I can't think of anything else that is. You get beggars asking for money of course, but anyone can ask for a cigarette and remain with dignity.

Time ticks on and I know I was complaining about life being speeded up before, but this week it can speed up if it likes as it is not the most thrilling ever.

The search strings people have been using to get to this website this week have been quite amusing, I really must compile them for the website sometime soon.

As it must be lunchtime judging by the noise my tummy is making I will head off now - bye bye!
